CKG Show Oct 27, The Big One: Who's Going?

The Canadian Knifemakers' Guild show is scheduled for October 27th at the Days Inn in Mississauga just outside Toronto. This is the semiannual event the knife knuts around here look forward to all year.
So, who is going? Who'll be there? Will there be any special goodies to look for?

Wolverine Show in Clawson Michigan

Anyone else planning on attending the Wolverine Knife Collectors Club Mini Show in Clawson Michigan? I attended last year and thought it was worthwhile. Koval Knives was there with lots of supplies, in fact I picked up my KMG-1 grinder there.

Hunting show next weekend

There is going to be a hunting show next weekend Sept 6,7,8 at the International Centre in Mississauga. There will be some knifemakers there, Walt Stockdale, Ron Post, Paul Johnston(London), Jim Downie, and myself. This is usually a pretty good show.

I know Chris Derringer is going to the weekend event,as am I-- , is anyone else from north of the border going? Judging from the list of demonstrators it should be a VERY informative weekend, with lots of interesting people attending. For info check the ABS ad in the latest knife mags--End of Sept weekend. It's being held just outside Albany,NY so it's a short trek for all you Ontariariarians. Hope to see a few of you down there so we can show those Yanks how to do a hammered -in!!! Regards, Don
